Caryn Effron

Caryn Effron, also known as Evan Linkner, is a Principal at Ackman-Ziff, overseeing the SFR/BFR Group and heading the Special Situations practice within the company.

With a track record dating back to 2002, Evan has managed over $30 billion in real estate transactions as a capital advisor or principal investor. He founded First Atlantic Capital Management in 2006, a fund that successfully navigated the real estate market collapse.

Evan is deeply involved in the real estate sector, boasting multiple Master's Degrees from Harvard University in finance, economics, and real estate. He also holds a BBA from Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business.

In addition to his work at Ackman-Ziff and First Atlantic, Evan is associated with various academic and alumni organizations. He is the Chair Emeritus of the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board and serves on the Board of Directors of the Harvard Real Estate Alumni Organization.

Evan's contributions and achievements have been recognized with awards, including the distinguished Marshal Award for graduating at the top of his class at Harvard.
