Cary Drake

Cary Drake is a seasoned energy and management professional with a successful track record of developing and commercializing renewable energy and smart grid projects. He has joined Philadelphia-based Viridity Energy Solutions as Director, Sales - Energy Storage to lead the company's growth in this strategic sector. Prior to his role at Viridity, Cary was Head of Project Development at A.F. Mensah where he was focused on deploying innovative energy storage solutions to select markets. Cary founded Drake Energy in 2003 which provided consulting services for a broad range of clients seeking technical and financial assistance for various renewable and conventional energy projects. Throughout his career, Cary has directed professional services to deploy Petra Solar's unique technology for utilities and other market segments within North America, Middle East and Australia.

Cary holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering (MSIE) and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami. He has also studied Electrical Engineering (BSEE) at Auburn University and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Miami.
