Carrie Zhang

Carrie Zhang is the Accelerator Director at Rise, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering survivors of sexual violence and advocating for civil rights. In her role, she supports startups and creator brands with marketing and public relations initiatives. Additionally, she is the founder of the Asian Mental Health Project, which aims to increase accessibility to mental healthcare for Pan-Asian communities through education and community engagement.

Zhang has a background in marketing and public relations, having held various positions, including Director of Funding Growth and Funding Strategist at StartEngine, where she developed marketing strategies for alternative assets investments. She also has experience managing marketing campaigns and public relations initiatives in other roles, such as Marketing Program Manager at Amplify.

Her academic qualifications include an MBA with distinction from INSEAD and a B.Eng from Nanyang Technological University. Zhang is actively involved in community advocacy and has been recognized for her efforts in mental health awareness and support.12
