Carrie Siahpush is an accomplished collaborative leader and coach who has been making a significant positive impact in the youth-development and non-profit sectors for over a decade. She possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from The Evergreen State College and a background in Theatre Design, Set, and Costume from the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Carrie's passion for community building, storytelling, and the arts has driven her success as a professional makeup artist and costume designer as well as in her leadership roles. Her commitment to equity in the non-profit complex and her belief that all young people deserve access to high-quality education are the driving forces behind her work.
Carrie currently serves as the Acting Executive Director at Arts Corps, where she previously served as the Director of Development and Communications. She formerly held senior positions at Renton Area Youth & Family Services, Amara, and Seattle Public Schools, where she worked as an Outreach Specialist and Volunteer Coordinator. She also has experience in brand management at Nordstrom as the MAC Cosmetics Brand Manager.
Carrie's approach to leadership is uniquely creative and relational, with a focus on community building and understanding. Her background in the arts, combined with her expertise in communication and media studies, has prepared her well for her leadership positions in the non-profit sector. She is interested in connecting with like-minded individuals to advance equity and access to the arts for all.
