Carrie Kwan

Carrie Kwan is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Mums & Co, a community and resource hub designed to empower mothers in business. She has held this position since 2016, following her previous entrepreneurial venture where she bootstrapped a startup in 2007 called DailyAddict.com.au, which focused on lifestyle and trends.12

Kwan is dedicated to supporting women, particularly mothers, in achieving a balance between their professional ambitions and personal well-being. She has been instrumental in advocating for increased investment in women-led businesses and launched the first Australian Mums in Business Report in 2017. Additionally, she initiated an annual national pitch competition in 2018 to help women leaders in business enhance their pitching skills and access funding.13

As a speaker, mentor, and co-host of the podcast "Mumbition," Kwan shares insights on various topics, including starting a digital business, personal branding, and community building. Her work has earned her recognition, including being named a Top 50 Inside Small Business Leader in 2021 and a finalist in the 2018 Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards.124
