Carrie Cihak is a Chief of Policy for the Office of King County Executive Dow Constantine, where she is a driving force behind the County's equity and social justice work. She is a highly educated individual who studied as a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at the University of Michigan and acquired a Master of Arts in Economics from Boston University. Throughout her career, she has held various roles, including 2018-20 Research Affiliate and Fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University, Director of Policy & Strategic Initiatives at King County, WA, Senior Legislative Analyst at the Metropolitan King County Council at King County, WA, and many more. Carrie has also been a Lecturer in Economics at the College of William and Mary, Academic Director at Kaplan Test Prep, and Staff Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers at The White House.
Carrie's extensive experience and education have made her a trusted contributor to King County Executive Dow Constantine's policy-making decisions.
