Caroline Wilson has a rich and diverse professional background that started in the motor trade and transitioned into accountancy and finance roles. She began her career as a receptionist and worked her way up to positions like cashier, wages clerk, purchase and sales ledger clerk, and Vehicle Administrator responsible for stock control and vehicle transfers. With experience in bringing garage accounts to trial balance, Caroline established her foundation in accountancy. She later moved to Hardie Caldwell, where she supervised the wages department and prepared financial accounts for sole traders and company audits. Transitioning to Aon and Mercer, Caroline delved into pension fund accountancy, managing a large portfolio of over 60 pension funds, ensuring timely fund account preparation and successful audits within strict deadlines. At French Duncan, she further honed her expertise in pension fund accounting and auditing for pension schemes and charities. In 2012, she temporarily worked at a building company and accountancy practice before landing a permanent role at Shell in the Governance, Risk, and Assurance department. Caroline's specialties include fund accounting and accounting for charities. She is multilingual, fluent in Italian, proficient in Spanish, French, and Latin at a higher level. Additionally, she holds qualifications to teach English as a Foreign Language, showcasing exceptional grammatical skills. In her spare time, Caroline is a certified Zumba and Fitsteps instructor, passionate about promoting health, fitness values, and inspiring others to reach their full potential.
