Caroline Ross

Caroline Ross, MPA, serves as the Director of Innovation and Impact at Catalyst @ Penn GSE, which is part of the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. In this role, she focuses on advancing strategic priorities related to innovation, equity, and evidence-based technology within one of the top-ranked graduate schools for education in the United States. Her tenure at Catalyst lasted from August 2021 to May 2022.2

Prior to her current position, Caroline was the Chief of Staff at the National Trust for Local News (NTLN), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local journalism. She has extensive experience in operations, team development, and strategic planning within the social sector, having worked with various organizations over the past decade.12

Her career includes significant roles such as Senior Director at the Sorenson Impact Institute, where she provided strategic advisory services aimed at enhancing social impact through data science and community engagement.2 Caroline's educational background includes being a Scholar with the Catherine B. Reynolds Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship at New York University, which indicates her commitment to social innovation and leadership.2
