Caroline Baron

Caroline Baron is an accomplished film producer and the co-founder of Yummico, a children's media company she started in 2011 alongside her husband, Anthony Weintraub. Yummico focuses on creating engaging and educational content for young children, utilizing innovative approaches to children's entertainment. The company has developed several apps and has made television development deals with major production and distribution companies, including DreamWorks and Amazon.12

Baron is well-known for her extensive work in film, having produced notable projects such as the Oscar-nominated film Capote and the award-winning Monsoon Wedding, which won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. Her career began in the early 1980s, and she has held various roles, including production manager for The Toxic Avenger and associate producer for the television series The Wonder Years. In addition to her production work, she founded FilmAid International, a nonprofit organization aimed at providing humanitarian support through film and media.123

In her current role, Baron also serves as an Assistant Arts Professor at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she teaches classes on producing.12
