Carolina Palma

Carolina Palma serves as the Chair of the Trade Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and is also an Indirect Tax Associate Partner at EY (Ernst & Young). She has held the position of Chair since February 2024 and previously served as Vice Chair for Business at OECD starting in June 2023. Her professional background includes significant experience in global trade and customs, and she has been involved with various organizations including TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY and Universidad de Costa Rica.12

In addition to her roles at AmCham and EY, Carolina Palma has been recognized for her leadership in law, being nominated for the Women in Law Awards 2024 in the Leadership in Law category.3 Her expertise in indirect tax and trade matters positions her as a key figure in discussions surrounding international trade policies and practices.
