Carole Seawert

Carole Seawert had a successful 23-year career as a self-employed copywriter before transitioning into the role of a Clerk to a City livery company in September 2022.

She is currently working as a Clerk, a position akin to a Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the operations of the livery company.

Carole's unconventional career shift from marketing and copywriting to managing a livery company was a well-thought-out decision with a logical progression.

Her involvement with the Worshipful Company of Marketors since 2013, where she held various committee roles and chaired the Events Committee, provided her with valuable experience in organizational management.

Carole also dedicated her time to other livery companies such as the Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers and the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, gaining diverse experiences in marketing, communications, and administration.

Being deeply connected to London's City livery world, Carole relishes the unique opportunities, connections, and experiences it offers.
