Carol Ussery

Carol Ussery is a highly qualified and experienced real estate professional with over 25 years of experience in the field. With over 1950+ sales worth over $189,000,000, she is well-versed in both residential and investment real estate. In addition to being a licensed real estate broker and residential mortgage loan originator, Carol has completed over 2250 hours in real estate, property management and mortgage training. With a focus on real estate investments and owner finance transactions, she founded and is currently the CEO of O.D. REI, Inc.

Carol's impressive career began after serving in the United States Army, where she attained the rank of Sergeant and served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. She then went on to study at Central Texas College, earning her Associate's degree in Real Estate and Business. After completing her education, Carol began her career in real estate and worked as an assistant to a real estate agent in Fort Hood, Texas. In 1995, she obtained her real estate license and became an agent for Coldwell Banker, where she worked for six years helping military families purchase homes. She then transitioned to a real estate company that dealt with distressed and rehabilitated properties and sold them on an owner finance program. During this time, Carol managed over 300 properties that were leased or owner financed.

Between 2004 and 2010, Carol helped investors purchase more than 350 pieces of investment real estate and has since focused on helping hundreds of families buy and sell homes through her services at North American Financial Texas Branch, which specializes in disclosures services for owner finance transactions.

Outside of work, Carol has been involved in various organizations throughout her career. She founded CarolCorp, Inc and has previously held positions such as Associate Broker at eXp Realty, Office Manager and Lender Liaison at August REI, General Manager at Open Door Real Estate Investment Network, and Owner at Open Door Real Estate Investments. Carol has also been a mentor at Eddie Speed's Note School, as well as a team leader at RealEstateAuctions.com.
