Carol Coye Benson

Carol Coye Benson is a co-founder of the Oregon Digital Safety Net (ORDSN), an initiative aimed at enhancing digital inclusion for marginalized communities in Oregon. With a background in the global payments industry, she previously worked as a strategy consultant and was a founding partner at Glenbrook Partners, where she focused on payments technology. Carol has authored significant works, including "Payments Systems in the U.S." and "Global Payments" .12

In her current role at ORDSN, she is dedicated to leveraging technology to improve the lives of those who are digitally excluded, advocating for pilot programs that aim to demonstrate the viability of digital inclusion strategies .1 Prior to her retirement in 2020, Carol accumulated over 25 years of experience in product development, marketing, and strategic planning within the payments sector .3
