Carmine Di Maro is an impact investor, entrepreneur, and community builder deeply committed to advancing the field of mental health through innovative finance and groundbreaking science.
Carmine's journey started in college where he founded a hub for student entrepreneurs and investors while also working at 80Amps, a startup incubator that launched multiple VC-backed companies.
He then joined Venture for America and became Chief of Staff for a startup in Detroit, eventually transitioning to work for Dan Gilbert's Family Office, leading investments in Detroit's revitalization.
His career took him to Los Angeles, where he focused on healthcare, B2B SaaS, and Aerospace investments at Techstars.
Experiencing addiction firsthand, Carmine realized his calling in mental wellbeing, leading him to work with One Mind to establish the One Mind Accelerator for mental health companies.
A first-generation American, Carmine also dedicates his efforts to increasing opportunities for underrepresented communities and volunteers with the World Economic Forum in LA.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship & Product Innovation from Virginia Commonwealth University and has completed programs at Harvard Business School and The Carlisle School.
