Carmen Bigles

Carmen Irene Bigles is the President and CEO of Coquí RadioPharmaceuticals, Corp. (Coquí Pharma), a company focused on establishing a medical radioisotope production facility in the United States. Before founding Coquí Pharma, she was the Co-Owner and Chief Financial Officer of the Caribbean Radiation Oncology Center in Puerto Rico. Her involvement there led to the observation of patients experiencing challenges due to a global shortage of Molybdenum-99, which prompted her to delve into the field and subsequently establish Coquí RadioPharmaceuticals. Carmen was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and pursued her education in Florida and Puerto Rico, earning a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Interamerican University and Master's degrees in Architecture and Suburban & Town Planning from the University of Miami in 2000. She currently resides in Coral Gables, Florida, with her husband and two daughters.
