Carmen Hong

Carmen Hong, ACA, BFP, is an experienced Finance Lead with a strong background in external and internal auditing, transitioning to a focus on Finance & Operations.

She is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW, possessing expertise in Financial Accounting, Internal Controls, Financial Reporting, and Audit/Assurance.

Carmen began her education by excelling in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (O Levels equivalent) at SMK Seri Bintang Utara and later pursued Accounting and Finance at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Furthering her professional development, she studied Professional Accounting Qualification with a focus on Accounting and Finance at Kolej Universiti Sunway.

Her professional journey includes roles such as Regional Finance and Operations Lead, Regional Finance and Operations Manager, and Finance Operations Manager at Entrepreneur First.

Prior to joining Entrepreneur First, Carmen Hong served as an Assistant Manager at GREAT EASTERN and gained valuable experience as a Senior Audit Associate, Audit Associate, and Intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
