Carmen Escobar

Carmen Escobar is a professional with a diverse background in design, business, and sustainability.

She holds a Master's degree in International Development in partnership with the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) from IE School of Global and Public Affairs.

Carmen has also studied Qualitative Research Methods at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Design Thinking at Hasso Plattner Institute, and holds Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration from Universidad de Los Andes and Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).

Her professional experience includes roles such as Captain of Partnerships and Customer Success at The Ocean Opportunity Lab, Sustainable Business & Impact Affiliate at Context Partners, and positions at various other organizations focusing on business design, research, and consultancy.

Carmen Escobar has also served as a lecturer and mentor in the areas of new technologies, innovation, and smart cities at Universidad Externado de Colombia and other educational institutions.
