Carmen Berkley is an award-winning political strategist, entrepreneur, radio host, and DJ with a passion for driving change through politics, social impact, creativity, and culture.

With a career spanning nearly 15 years, Carmen has dedicated herself to bridging issues affecting communities of color and women, leading to impactful programs that have positively impacted millions.

Currently a senior associate at Civitas Public Affairs, Carmen excels in delivering successful advocacy and public affairs campaigns that benefit both clients and the broader community.

As a co-host and producer of women's radio shows like Sophie's Parlor and Melody Divas, Carmen remains active in amplifying important voices and narratives. She also showcases her talent as DJ CarmenSpindiego at various events and venues.

Carmen's extensive experience includes roles such as President of the United States Student Association, Field Director at NAACP and Urge, Executive Director at the Generational Alliance, Director of Civil, Human, and Women's Rights at the AFL-CIO, and Managing Director of Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

Additionally, Carmen is a co-founder of Can't Stop! Won't Stop! Consulting, where she provides strategic planning, equity strategies, and advocacy trainings for businesses and non-profits.

Recognized for her outstanding contributions, Carmen has been featured in publications like Essence Magazine's Woke 100 and Washington Life Magazine's top 40 under 40. She holds leadership positions on the boards of re and Advocates for Youth, and is a founding member of BYP100.

Carmen's educational background includes studies in Political Science, Government, and Communications at the University of Pittsburgh after attending Chattahoochee High School.
