Carmela Cucuzzella

Carmela Cucuzzella is the newly appointed Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Design (Faculté de l'aménagement) at the Université de Montréal.1 Her term began on August 1, 2023, and will continue until May 31, 2028.1
Academic Background and Expertise
Dr. Cucuzzella has an extensive academic background:
- PhD in Environmental Design from Université de Montréal
- Master's in Applied Science (Design and Complexity) from Université de Montréal
- Bachelor's degree in Design from Concordia University
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Concordia University2
Prior to her appointment as Dean, she was a Professor in the Department of Design and Computation Arts at Concordia University.2 She also held the Concordia University Research Chair in Integrated Design and Sustainability for the Built Environment (IDEAS-BE).2
