Carman Chan

Carman Chan, a serial entrepreneur turned venture capitalist, founded Click Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Hong Kong, focusing on technology startups in Asia and North America.

Carman has over 20 years of experience in the industry, having created and exited three ventures, written columns on internet-related topics, and invested in over 40 angel investments.

She started angel investing in 2013 and founded Click Ventures in 2015, making investments in internet and mobile-related startups, with a shift in focus in 2021 to invest in emerging VC managers.

Click Ventures has a strong track record, named top performing funds globally and consistently recognized as a top-performing VC fund manager by Preqin.

Carman holds a background in statistics, probabilities, and financial mathematics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and although she dropped out of a PhD program at Imperial College London, her entrepreneurial journey speaks volumes of her success.

Known for her investments and involvement in numerous companies, Carman has a wide network in the startup ecosystem, including notable organizations and events she has been a part of.
