Product Designer and Graphic Designer for the Heidi Swapp brand.Duties included creating style guides, designing patterns and graphics, and creating reference sheets for a variety of products. Products included mainly paper goods – scrapbooking supplies, stationery, and planners – but also many home decor items. I worked with members of a sourcing team to have the products created, and then I  inspected and tested sample products to ensure high quality.I also had opportunities to assist in product concept development, planning the arrangement of shelves and endcaps in stores where the products were sold, and designing packaging and marketing materials on occasion. Some of the more prominent product lines include: Marquee Love, Heidi Swapp Lightbox, Memory Planner, Minc (foil applicator), and Gallery Wall. Heidi Swapp also created products for other brands like Fujifilm instax and Becky Higgins Project Life. These products are sold at Michaels, JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts, Hobby Lobby, and several smaller retailers.

As a graphic design intern at Big Monocle I helped to create marketing materials for several companies and organizations. Working at Big Monocle taught me how to create within brand guidelines and still bring something new to the table. I assisted in campaigns and projects for Intel's Password Day, McAfee Site Advisor, Contacts for Good, Midas Whale, and Deep Love: A Ghostly Rock Opera.
