Carlton Ward is an accomplished environmentalist, conservation photographer, and explorer known for his dedication to capturing the beauty of nature through his lens.
With a diverse educational background, Carlton Ward obtained a MS in Ecology from the University of Florida, a BS in Biology and Anthropology from Wake Forest University, and honed his leadership skills at the Wedgworth Leadership Institute.
His professional journey includes roles such as Contributing Photographer at The Nature Conservancy, Founder of the Florida Wildlife Corridor, Trustee at the Lowry Park Zoological Society, and Fellow at the International League of Conservation Photographers.
Carlton Ward has also contributed his expertise as a Conservation Photographer at Carlton Ward Photography, Communications Partner at The WILD Foundation, and Environmental Photojournalist at the Smithsonian Institution.
His passion for conservation and photography led him to work as a Photographer at the St. Petersburg Times and as a Graduate at the University of Florida. Currently, Carlton Ward is making significant contributions as an Explorer at National Geographic.
