Carlos Villamar is a seasoned patent attorney, founder of The Villamar Firm, and former CEO of OU812 Incorporated. With a focus on foreign and domestic patent application preparation, his legal practice covers a broad range of technologies. Carlos has extensive expertise in wired and wireless communications, encryption, digital signal processing, gaming, virtual worlds, renewable energy, aquaculture, electromechanics, and more. He studied law at The George Washington University Law School and electrical engineering at California State University, Long Beach and California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. He was a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has laid the foundation for his legal career at several esteemed law firms, including Nixon Peabody LLP, Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, P.C., and Ditthavong & Mori, P.C. Before turning to law, Carlos served in the United States Air Force, where he strengthened his engineering skills.
