Carlos Monteverde

Carlos Monteverde is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in product management, sustainability, cybersecurity, finance, and leadership roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in International Finance from Universidad Espíritu Santo and a Masters in Sustainability from the University of Sydney, among other degrees. Additionally, Carlos has studied Sustainability Studies at Columbia University, a Master of Business Administration at Universidad Espíritu Santo, and has taken courses at the University of Oxford.

Throughout his career, Carlos has held key positions at Mastercard, including Director of Global Product Management in Cybersecurity and Analytics, Director of Product Management in Global Open Banking, and various roles in Digital Consumer Solutions. He has also been recognized for his leadership as the Ricardo Salinas Fellow 2019 at The Aspen Institute, a Reality Fellow in 2018 at the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, and as a 100 Visionary Leader in 2018 by Real-Leaders.com. Moreover, he has been an Australia American Leadership Dialogue Young Leader and engaged in projects such as the Future of Financial and Monetary Systems at the World Economic Forum.

Carlos has also contributed his expertise to organizations such as the Centre for Independent Studies, The Earth Institute at Columbia University, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Ey, and the International Center of Photography. His involvement spans across research, consulting, and founding partnerships in communications.
