Carlos Marques

Carlos Marques is an accomplished musician and educator with a diverse background in music education, conducting, and composition.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Conducting from the Universidade de Aveiro and has also completed a Bachelor's degree in Wind Band Conducting from Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag, as well as a Licentiate degree in Music from the Universidade de Aveiro.

Currently, Carlos Marques serves as a teacher at Conservatório de Música do Porto, where he imparts his knowledge and expertise to aspiring musicians.

With a rich history of experience, Carlos Marques has previously worked as a Composer at Molenaar Editions, a Conductor at Banda Amizade, and as an Independent Freelancer.

His career also includes teaching roles at Instituto Piaget and serving as a Maestro, Professor, and Composer at Conservatório de Música da Jobra.
