Carlos Jordan

Carlos Jordan is the CEO and co-founder of UltraCasas.com, the leading online property marketplace in Bolivia. He also heads UltraGrupo, which includes UltraCreditos, a fintech that facilitates online lending. Jordan's entrepreneurial journey began in 2015 after he returned to Bolivia, where he recognized a significant gap in the real estate market—specifically, the lack of digital platforms for property listings. This realization led to the creation of UltraCasas, which quickly grew to become the largest property portal in Bolivia, boasting over 25,000 listings and attracting significant user traffic.13

Jordan's background includes a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with honors, and a master's degree from Stanford University. Before launching UltraCasas, he worked at Bechtel Corporation, where he was instrumental in process improvements and cost savings.23 His work in the tech ecosystem has made him a prominent figure in Bolivia, known for his advocacy for innovation and technology as tools for economic development.123
