With more than 30 years of experience in information security, Carlos Fernandes is a highly skilled cybersecurity professional known for his expertise in Cybersecurity.

Fernandes is responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies at ACS, with a specific focus on 'Precognition' and 'Precognitive Capabilities' to predict, prevent, and persist against cyber incidents.

Carlos Fernandes has a background in international project management, having supported U.S. Government customers like CIA, ODNI, NRO, NSA, DISA, and DIA over two decades.

Before venturing into cybersecurity, Fernandes served in the United States Air Force as an Intelligence Applications Officer, showcasing his diverse skill set.

Throughout his career, Carlos Fernandes has provided expert leadership and innovative solutions for security-related challenges, having held senior positions at respected companies like Salient, CACI, L-3, Booz Allen Hamilton, and EDS.

His specialties include being a Cybersecurity Trusted Advisor, and he holds a Top Secret/SCI security clearance along with being a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Military Institute.

Alongside his professional experiences, Carlos Fernandes has pursued further education, studying Intelligence Analysis and Application at Goodfellow Air Force Base, pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering at Virginia Military Institute, and earning an MBA in INFOSEC from James Madison University.
