Carlos Ávila

Carlos Ávila is a versatile and multidisciplinary professional who loves Metaphysics, Philosophy, and Psychology. With a wide range of interests and skills, he embraces a non-dualistic view of the world, connecting seemingly opposite concepts to create new solutions and perspectives. He holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad de Guadalajara and has studied Audio Engineering and Musical Production, Music Technology at Centro Universitario de Música Fermatta, among other courses.

Ávila has worked in various tech companies, such as AlphaPoint, rever, Inc., GoExpedi, and ContractRoom, mainly as a Data Engineer and Software Engineer focused on Big Data. He has experience in web scraping and firmware development, as well. Additionally, Carlos worked as an Android Developer at Prestadora de Servicios Hércules and as a Regional Coordinator at a WhiteSuit Hacking community.

Despite his tech background, Ávila's curiosity and love for learning have led him to explore other fields, such as Biblical Hebrew, PNL and Coaching, and Natural Language Processing, among others. Furthermore, his array of hobbies and interests includes playing the violin, learning languages (Spanish, Hebrew, and Euskera), playing chess, and bio-inspired programming.
