Carlo Martini

Carlo Martini is a successful entrepreneur and technologist with a passion for coding and problem-solving. With a background in computer systems engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, Carlo started coding at the age of 14, instilling in him the belief that complex problems can be broken down and solved systematically.

At the age of 25, Carlo launched his first startup, MioAssicuratore, which became the leading B2C online insurance broker in Italy. He secured over 2 million in funding from venture capitalists and institutional funds, expanding the team to 20 employees, some of whom have gone on to work at renowned unicorn companies.

In early 2020, Carlo and his team developed CovidApp, the first open-source privacy-preserving protocol for the Covid-19 crisis. This initiative gained global traction, with the Italian Government shortlisting the protocol and other applications worldwide integrating it for Covid-19 initiatives.

During the challenges posed by the pandemic, Carlo founded Human Mobility, a social-distancing solution for European corporates. This venture exposed him to the intricacies of managing enterprise projects with diverse clients and varying expectations.
