Carla Schoeman is a highly skilled and experienced professional in the FMCG retail industry. Holding key positions in renowned companies like Spur Group, Woolworths, takealot.com, and SPAR, she has built an impressive expertise in product procurement, category strategy, analysis of data, forecasting, supply chain management, top-level negotiations, and marketing strategies. Carla's skills in product specification management, recipe/concept development, and building and managing excellent relationships with suppliers and trade partners make her a valuable addition to any organization.

Carla has pursued Postgraduate studies in Marketing and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing/Marketing Management from Stellenbosch University/Universiteit Stellenbosch. She has a passion for innovation, leadership, and execution, which she demonstrated by successfully mentoring and promoting three assistant buyers. Her unique ability to apply traditional FMCG knowledge onto an online platform has been an asset in her role at Takealot.com.

Carla's current role at Spur Group is responsible for product procurement, both foods and non-foods, for the Spur Steak Ranches, Spur Grill&Go, and The Hussar Grill. She is in charge of product specification management and recipe/concept development (R&D). Carla also manages the renowned Hussar Grill wine list.
