Carla D'Avanzo

Carla D'Avanzo, PhD, has over 10 years of experience in Alzheimer's disease research and currently serves as a Program Manager at Mass General Research Institute, focusing on Strategic Alliances to promote translational science by fostering partnerships between industry and academia.

With a background in Neuroscience and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Carla manages three thematic programs: Neuroinflammation in Neurodegeneration, Cardiometabolics, and Rare Diseases.

She has a diverse educational background, including studies in Project Management, Business of Biotech, and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Naples Federico II.

Carla has held various roles such as Senior Research Alliance Manager at Mass General Research Institute, Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School, and Volunteer Co-Director at Science Rehashed Inc., showcasing her dedication to scientific research, education, and community involvement.
