CEO and Co-Founder - Bixal - an organization determined to have a positive impact on the lives of people everywhere

Carla Briceno is the CEO and Co-Founder of Bixal, a company that focuses on creating human-centered experiences to transform organizations and improve lives, with a primary focus on the Federal Government space.

Starting her career as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Guatemala, Carla has since directed nonprofit programs, supported international development activities, and worked in technology as a developer and digital project manager.

Carla's expertise lies in corporate strategy, customer success, business development, strategic partnerships, digital marketing/communications strategy, customer experience (CX) and user experience (UX) design, multicultural and multilingual outreach, open source technology (Drupal, React, Wordpress), ICT4D, and Spanish language skills.

She holds educational certifications in Business Programming, a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a Minor in Spanish, as well as studies in International Policy Studies, International Development, and Advanced Spanish.

Carla Briceno is the former Project Manager at Sprint Nextel and has held positions at SallieMae, SRA, TechnoServe, Development Associates, United Nations Volunteers, and FINCA International. She has also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer.
