Carl Liggio

Carl Liggio is a seasoned professional specializing in asset management and commercial operations of power plants, with a focus on NYISO Zone J, electricity markets, and strategy.

His expertise extends to evaluating alternative and renewable energy technologies, including Westinghouse plasma gasification technology, as part of his efforts to establish a waste-to-energy company.

Carl holds a PhD in Civil Engineering, along with multiple master's and bachelor's degrees from The Johns Hopkins University, covering systems analysis, economics for public decision making, and civil engineering.

Over the course of his career, Carl has held key positions such as Owner and Managing Partner at Pharos Enterprise Intelligence, LLC, Energy Lecturer, Director of Commercial Strategy and Alternative Energy Programs at US Power Generating Company, President at Meissa Consulting, and various roles at organizations like Reliant Energy, Orion Power, and Johns Hopkins University.
