Carl King

Carl King is a prolific author, filmmaker, and founder of Bend Bars / Lift Gates, a video production company based in Los Angeles that specializes in creating behind-the-scenes featurettes, promotional videos and documentaries. With a background in music and writing from State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota as well as Berklee College of Music, Carl has developed an impressive portfolio working with notable musicians and artists including Morgan Ågren, Dweezil Zappa, Devin Townsend, and Brendon Small. His company has been associated with numerous projects, including the release of the feature-length documentary, Conundrum: A Percussive Misadventure. In addition to his work in video production, Carl is also known for his literary works, which include the book "So, You're A Creative Genius... Now What?" published by MWP, and the viral article, "10 Myths About Introverts." Carl is a vegan and loves spending his weekends watching movies in a theater.
