She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Maastricht University, and later pursued a Master of Science in Statistics at ETH Zurich.
Throughout her career, Carissa has held internships in esteemed organizations such as Boehringer Ingelheim, Provincie Limburg, Consorcio Jergo, Gemeente Maastricht, Mondiaal Centrum Maastricht, and RSVP Caribbean Volunteers. Her roles have ranged from Biostatistics Intern to Business Analysis Intern, showcasing her versatility and adaptability.
Apart from her professional endeavors, Carissa has also shared her passion for fitness as a Zumba Instructor at the Pilates Centre Wellness Village.
