Carine Boechat is a finance and strategy professional with nine years of experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, and project finance. Her experience covers diverse geographies and businesses such as energy generation, distribution, and transmission, successfully managing more than USD 7 billion portfolio.

Carine has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora and is a Formação em Finanças graduate from COPPEAD / UFRJ. She did her Master's in Business Administration from the University of St.Gallen, and while pursuing her MBA, she was also a student at the Universität St.Gallen - Hochschule für Wirtschafts-, Rechts- und Sozialwissenschaften.
