Meet Cara Hutchison, an accomplished lawyer with extensive experience in commercial and corporate law. With expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts, Cara has applied her knowledge and experience in both common law and civil law jurisdictions. She is highly organized, meticulous, resourceful, articulate, ambitious and results-oriented. Cara is a bilingual professional, proficient in English and French (written and oral).

Cara earned a BSc in Biochemistry/Microbiology from the Saint Boniface College, and later went on to study various courses in Law from École du Barreau du Québec, Université de Sherbrooke, and Law Society of Manitoba. She holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.), Common law and Trans-national law, an LL.B, Bachelor of Civil Law, and Law degrees.

Previously, Cara served as a Legal Counsel at TransForce Inc., and as a Lawyer at Spiegel Sohmer Inc. She has also been an Articling student at Audi Gozlan & Associates and a Regulatory Affairs Associate at Delon Laboratories Inc. Currently, Cara is a Corporate Counsel at Canada Life, where she works under pressure with tight deadlines, in a context of changing priorities.

Cara is a computer literate in various software like LexisNexis/Quicklaw, Westlaw, CanLII, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. She is a hardworking individual with excellent communication skills and has the ability to deliver successful results on time and within budget.
