Candida Nicastro

Candida Secrest is a professional with a diverse educational background and career experience.

She graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies, focusing on middle childhood and adolescence.

Her education provided her with knowledge in social services, mental health, family dynamics, and social issues, blending elements of psychology, sociology, and social work.

Candida started her career at Chilton-Shelby Mental Health Center, where she excelled in a unique role as a Probate Case Manager, contributing to the development and refinement of job responsibilities.

While at CSMHC, she found her passion for mental health advocacy but decided to shift her focus towards a new path.

She has now shifted gears to pursue a Master's degree in Accounting through the Accounting Bridge Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, expecting to graduate in 2022.

With a background in social services and mental health coupled with her accounting education, Candida is poised to bring a unique perspective to her future endeavors in the accounting field.
