Candace Walsh holds a Master's in Public Administration (MPA) in Political Science from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a focus on News-Editorial Journalism from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. With an extensive and diverse professional background, Candace has made significant contributions across various roles.

Currently, Candace Walsh serves as an Instructor/Coordinator at The University of Memphis, where she imparts her knowledge and expertise to students. Her previous experiences include positions such as Adjunct Instructor at Mid South Community College, Co-Owner/Principal Consultant at Magnolia Blue, LLC, Director/Manager of Community Building Initiatives at United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, Coordinator of Strategic Neighborhood Initiative at the City of Chattanooga, and Director of Special Projects at the Office of the Mayor in Chattanooga. She also has journalistic experience, having worked as a Reporter at the Chattanooga Times and Knoxville Journal.
