Candace Carter

Candace Carter is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in law and advocacy.

She holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a Health Law Certificate from Belmont University College of Law and has a strong academic record with a Master of Arts (MA) degree from Lipscomb University and a BA in Political Science with minors in International Studies and Legal Studies from Northwestern University.

Candace has gained valuable experience through various roles, including serving as a Litigation Attorney at the State of Tennessee, an Associate Attorney at Parker & Crofford, and at Clark & Washington, L.L.C.

Her legal career includes clerkships at the Medicaid Fraud and Integrity Division, Division II, and the Law Enforcement and Special Prosecutions Division at the Tennessee Attorney General's Office.

Candace also has experience as an Ambassador at Belmont University College of Law and in event management at Bone McAllester Norton PLLC.

She has a well-rounded background with an internship at the Transit Alliance of Middle Tennessee and experience as a Summer Law Clerk at the 21st Judicial District Circuit Court.
