Cameron Teitelman is the Founder and Chairman of StartX, a non-profit startup accelerator and founder community associated with Stanford University.12 He founded StartX in 2011 as an undergraduate at Stanford.15 As the head of admissions and overseer of investment vehicles, Teitelman manages the selection process for accepting founders into the StartX community, which currently has about 1700 members.6
Under Teitelman's leadership, StartX has supported over 700 companies that have created more than 5000 jobs and raised over $8 billion.5 He also founded and ran the Stanford-StartX Fund, which has made over 650 investments with more than $190 million in capital deployed since October 2013.5
