Cameron Hunter is an experienced developer originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, with a passion for the web's openness and accessibility.

Currently, Cameron works as a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix, where he contributes to the TVUI team, focusing on product development and open source projects.

Prior to Netflix, Cameron played key roles at renowned tech companies. At Twitter, he served as a Staff Software Engineer, contributing to both desktop and mobile website projects.

Previously, he was a Software Development Engineer at Amazon.com, working on various projects such as retargeted advertising, catalog management, and a music encyclopedia. Before that, he was a Web Application Developer at Etain.

Cameron Hunter's skill set encompasses building elegant front-end interfaces using JavaScript and creating scalable services using Scala and Java.

He holds a BEng (Hons) degree in Software Engineering from The University of Edinburgh and has a background in education from Methodist College Belfast.

Outside of work, Cameron enjoys rock climbing, savoring whisky, and watching films.
