We are starting with AfterDeath AfterDeath is a game-based, interactive virtual reality simulation of the Tibetan Book of the Dead, which describes the journey consciousness takes from the moment of death until its rebirth in another form. Using the mechanism of an immersive psychedelic “trip” through otherworldly environments, AfterDeath will be both a unique gaming experience and a pathway to understanding personal attitudes, desires, and aversions.The Vision:Our goal is to create an awe-inspiring immersive “game” that is also a profound tool for psychological and spiritual development.The interactive modalities described in the Tibetan Book of the Dead train us to employ calm focus, equanimity, and compassion to attain more blissful states. These will become successful strategies in the AFTERDEATH “game”.Future enhancements will include multiple levels and environments, and the incorporation of increasingly sophisticated interactive technologies, including bio, neuro and haptic feedback.

Intro: Children with learning disabilities often face many difficulties in social interactions, including understanding how to make decisions in specific situations. Our company aims to help students learn how to interact and integrate better into the community. Lia is a personalized educational platform that teaches various concepts through self-reinforcement.Demo: How it works: Lia presents a certain number of situations per day for the user. Each situation is presented through detailed and specific explanations as well as visual aids. Situations can be generated by the parent, or can come in packages based on specific topics students often have trouble working through. Each situation allows the child to choose which option they believe is the best. After, an explanation is given based on whether or not the answer is socially acceptable. Each of the  situations will be approved by professionals that study learning disabilities. About Us: Lia is a team of high school students dedicated to improving the lives of kids with learning disabilities. We believe that a condition such as this should not hinder the ability of students go grow and expand with their community, and finding a easy-to-use, appealing solution is necessary.

I am currently creating a comic book to spread awareness and promote the positive side of having learning disabilities. Those diagnosed with specific learning disorders are found to have different gifts such as heightened visual-spatial ability and the ability to look at concepts and the world in unique ways. My goal for this is that after reading this, those with LD will have a more positive outlook on themselves, and those without LD will have a more empathetic and positive view on their non-neurodiverse colleagues.
