In the year and a half that I was at TTI, company revenues grew 3x. Hired at this inflection point of the company’s growth, I spearheaded business operations, IT, risk management and governance with a view to accommodating rapid scale-up of customers, processes and systems. At an internal level, this involved fostering a culture of continuous improvement, providing direction to 4 direct reports, and ensuring that employees were equipped with the resources and tools to achieve organizational goals. 

In a nutshell, my day-to-day activities were comprised of the following:

 	Conducting detailed process mapping and identifying value-add improvement opportunities
 	Researching and introducing new technology by balancing strategic merits with costs
 	Approving and overseeing the implementation of technology and process-oriented projects
 	Supporting, troubleshooting and integrating systems and applications to lift operating performance metrics and KPIs while maintaining adherence to budgets and timelines

Some of the notable projects I drove were as follows:

 	Finance and Operations: Rolled out a new order tracking, quality assurance, AP/AR, and work management software solution (FieldVision) on a common platform (Zoho)
 	Project Management: Introduced Asana adoption from 8% to 100% of staff
 	Communications: Configured and rolled out Slack for 250+ office and field staff
 	Human Resources: New ATS system to track and manage recruitment activity; transitioned HR/payroll functions to an outsourced provider leading to 6-figure recurring annual cost savings

In an effort to address the housing crisis in California, I co-founded California Modular.  

California Modular's mission is to:
1. create new housing using modular home-building 
2. develop micro-villages to place this new housing and build community among residents 

We use innovation, technology, and design to create a housing product that is more relevant for the needs and constraints of the modern housing market in California.

I lead Product Management and Customer Experience aligning the needs and desires of our residents and home-buyers, with the latest in smart home technology, leading-edge building materials, and progressive home design.

After 6 months in enterprise operations improvement, I was promoted into a product management role with leadership of the Spark Idea Market – a continuous improvement initiative that conceived innovative ideas to enhance various aspects of the business from employee engagement to grid technology to service delivery.

 Key highlights included:
 	- Synthesized market research, competitive intelligence and product-market fit to originate and operationalize new product offerings 
 	Articulated product goals, defined product strategies and developed roadmap to ship new innovations/iterations that fulfilled market needs and/or gaps
 	- Managed all aspects of in-life products including customer feedback, pricing, and P&L while identifying growth/partnership opportunities to achieve commercial success
 	- Provided oversight of all product lifecycle stages, implementing various performance management tools and feedback loops to adapt product planning accordingly

Pacific Gas and Electric Company

Product Manager

The ECI is PG&E’s internal consulting division dedicated to implementing initiatives that drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. As a subject matter expert in operational improvement, I was selected as part of the pioneering team for this new division to guide complex, high-priority projects across the enterprise from inception to completion.

A notable example was the design, planning and rollout of a new employee onboarding program with face-to-face, online and blended modalities for a business unit with 200+ people. This was later further modified to train and onboard 1200 new supervisors org-wide.

Enterprise Continuous Improvement Analyst, Expert

The Enterprise Corrective Action Program (ECAP) encompasses the capture, evaluation, and analysis (including root-cause analyses) of failures, incidents, non-conformities, other issues, and opportunities for improvement across the enterprise. Through the CAP reporting tool, employees are encouraged to be a part of the “Speak Up Safety Culture” to bolster transparency, ultimately helping the company be a leading player in the utilities sector. 

My involvement in the ECAP was centred on the design, implementation and integration of the tool org-wide to offer comprehensive reporting and escalation capabilities that spurred high rates of adoption and utilization. After defining the scope alongside senior leadership and mobilizing a project team, I led the start-to-finish project management of the tool which included:

 	- Gathering business requirements enterprise-wide, conducting current state analyses to identify process gaps, and developing a future-state operating roadmap
 	- Identifying, triaging and mitigating various risks in various stages of execution
 	- Leading onshore and remote teams through all aspects of product development and testing 
 	- Training employees and securing business unit buy-in for the tool through sound change management and communications

Final Outcome: A successful rollout of the CAP tool in SAP used by 22,000 employees org-wide with additional features in data analysis and visualization through KPI metric tracking and dashboard

Enterprise CAP Deployment Specialist, Sr

As a customer-facing operations spearhead, I coordinated the activities of 30-50 technicians on the project team while scoping out opportunities for continuous process improvement to root out inefficiencies that were a drag on organizational resources and costs. This led to several milestone accomplishments:

 	- Successful, on-time completion of a national-scale infrastructure project (wireless installation) that generated $900k of revenue in 8 months and involved harmonizing the activities of 40+ technicians across 17 markets, 15 States and 4 time zones
 	- Increased account revenues by 45% 
 	- Drove a substantial reduction in back office support costs for the client by simplifying existing processes and building relationships with key decision-makers

Operations Director

Trusted partner to management teams of enterprises from Fortune 500 corporates to SMEs, leading engagements across process transformation, system implementation and retail product development. Navigated work environments, geographies and cultures to lead teams across the USA, Singapore, Belgium and Italy.

Engagement Highlights:

 	Client: ExxonMobil – Designed enhanced business processes around retail product development to reduce product integrity risks. Implemented a SAP PLM system solution. Conducted process reviews with senior executives based internationally to uncover areas of improvement, revamp existing practices, and test the functionality of new solutions prior to full roll-out

 	Client: Wal-Mart – Implemented a PTC Flex Product Lifecycle Management Windchill software solution to accelerate time to market by transforming retail product development processes in 2 business units. Gathered business requirements, formed use cases, and instituted risk management frameworks to create a system prototype. Managed full roll-out thereafter via effective change management and instructor-led training

 	Client: Best Buy - Analyzed retail item setup and maintenance processes with a focus on the attribute data (i.e. product specifications) entered into business systems by vendors and employees. Evaluated the causes and impacts of incomplete attribute data to outline the technical enhancements that would mitigate risk and reduce complexity.
