Cal Reichenbach

Cal Reichenbach is a versatile guitarist and composer, with experience scoring music for film, TV, and video games. He specializes in creating rhythmically engaging music that drives storytelling and emotional impact. His diverse skill set allows him to create music that spans a wide range of genres, from classical to rock, funk, and jazz. Cal is known for his ability to blend and integrate various ethnic music styles from around the world into his scores, creating unique soundscapes that reflect the stories being told.

Cal has an MFA in music production from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he honed his skills in creating music for visual media. He has worked with prominent companies such as Subaru Asia, Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, and Men In Blazers (VICE Sports) and has produced an array of rock, funk, and jazz bands, including the award-winning Bay Area afrobeat ensembles ALBINO! and Aphrodesia.

Cal's expertise includes creating show open themes, emulations of any given reference track/musical genre/era, and comedic scoring across different music genres. He has also created ironic cover arrangements and other satirical scoring pieces, ranging from subtly sardonic to outrageously hyperbolic.
