Caitlin Hayward
Associate Director for Research & Development
Cait Hayward is a highly skilled web designer and developer with experience in interactive design, information architecture, database management, programming instruction, and graphic design. She studied photography at Munich International School and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and International Affairs at the University of Maine. She furthered her education by achieving a Master of Science degree from the School of Information at the University of Michigan.
Throughout her professional career, Cait has held various positions in research and development, user experience, web design, and database management. She began as an Archive Assistant at the Rockport Institute for Photographic Education before becoming a Web Developer at Pica // Brand, Strategy, Design, and a Database Architect and Information Systems Designer at the Bentley Historical Library. She has also held positions as a Research Assistant and Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan and a Web Design Intern at the Smithsonian Institution.
Currently, Cait serves as the Associate Director for Research and Development at the University of Michigan Office of Academic Innovation. She is responsible for designing and developing digital tools that enhance student learning experiences. Cait has a passion for photography and has published her work in various literary and art magazines.
