Cai Shen
Associate Professor
Dr. Cai Shen is an accomplished professional with a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of St Andrews in the UK.
He is currently an Associate Professor at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Shen held research roles as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Maryland and Aarhus University.
Dr. Shen's expertise lies in the field of electrochemistry, lithium-ion batteries, and atomic force microscopy.
He has an extensive publication record with over 90 papers in reputable journals including JACS, ACS Nano, Angew. Chem., and Nano Energy.
Dr. Cai Shen is actively involved in academia and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Microscopy.
He leads the lab of electrochemical atomic force microscopy at CNITECH, focusing on cutting-edge research in the field.
Dr. Shen completed his Master's degree in Material Science at the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at Fuzhou University.
