Phil Santoro

Phil Santoro is an American entrepreneur known for co-founding Wilbur Labs, a startup studio investing in new ventures. He founded FreeForums.org, later acquired by CrowdGather, and previously worked at Google as a Growth Strategist.

In 2007, Santoro created FreeForums.org, a successful online forum platform that garnered millions of monthly page views and was acquired by CrowdGather in 2010. This venture laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial journey.

During his tenure at Google from 2013 to 2016, based in Mountain View, California, Santoro explored entrepreneurial opportunities, leading to the formation of Wilbur Labs with David Kolodny. Wilbur Labs provides funding and support to various startups.

Santoro is a vocal advocate for entrepreneurship, sharing his knowledge through speaking engagements and writings in esteemed publications like Inc. and Fast Company. He also addresses startup challenges in the Wilbur Labs Founder FAQ series.

Phil Santoro holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business. He is committed to nurturing young entrepreneurs, having started his entrepreneurial journey at a young age himself.

Apart from his professional pursuits, Santoro is a licensed private pilot and holds a Guinness World Record for competitive eating. He resides in Miami, Florida, with his wife, Rubi.
