Carolyn Griffen

Carolyn Griffen is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in the field of accounting. She is currently pursuing a Phd in Accounting at Capella University and holds an MBA in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. With a focus on cash management, accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, Carolyn assigns, monitors, coordinates, and reviews work operations performed by others. She ensures the proper billing/charging of accounts and provides professional, prompt, and courteous service to clients by resolving financial problems on an individual basis. Additionally, she prepares and submits consolidated financial reports to various departments and performs accounting work within units.

Carolyn is adept at using various accounting software systems including Timberline, Yardi, QuickBooks, ADP Payroll, and Peachtree among others. She has held various positions in her career, including Business Instructor, Visiting Professor, Asst Controller, Sr Accountant, and Controller, among others.
