Cindy Au
Cindy Au is an accomplished engineer, product designer, and researcher who has worked at some of the most prestigious technology companies in the world. With an educational background in Biomechanical and Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, she has spent the past decade working on cutting-edge projects that combine technology, engineering, and design. She currently serves as a Product Design Engineer at Google Nest, where she works to develop products that enhance the lives of users. Prior to this, she worked in a series of roles at Google, including Product Design Engineer at Area 120 and Mechanical Lead at Verily Life Sciences. She also spent time as a Product Design Engineer for iPhone and Apple Watch at Apple, providing her with a breadth of experience across different product types.
Cindy's passion for product development and engineering is complemented by her academic and research background. She has worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Stanford Product Realization Lab, as well as a Research Assistant at both the Neuromuscular Biomechanics Lab and the Stanford Biomedical Optics Group. Additionally, she served as a Senior R&D Analyst at Accenture Research, where she focused on the Internet of Things.
